FL Studio Guru – Plugin Delay Compensation (PDC) Made Simple

{ No Comment }

Visit LoopTalk to see the FL Studio Guru thread forum.image-line.com with downloads and more! :) All Guru series videos can be seen at: flstudio.image-line.com This is the first of two videos that will look at setting up PDC in FL Studio. PDC is required when plugins introduce unwanted, internal processing delays that causes their audio to g out of sync with the rest of the project. In FL Studio 9, PDC setup has been made much simpler with the ‘Create Submix to’ function on the Mixer menu. When you use this function, the currently selected Mixer track ’steals’ all the Mixer tracks that were routed TO the track you select from the menu. If you choose Master, then all tracks routed there go to the selected Mixer track, then you can add a PDC compensating delay to that track. See the FL Studio manual for more details: flstudio.image-line.com Credits: Thanks to Katy Theodossiou & digifish music for access to ‘Take a breath (pop mix)’ used in this beat class.
