You can hear the complete track at - www.youtube.com C-Note NeSmith cites this as a remix/remake of the Johnny Cash 'Hurt' which itself is a remake of the 9 inch nails 'Hurt' You can discuss this tutorial here in Looptalk... forum.image-line.com and you can see more FL Studio Guru Videos here... www.youtube.com Thanks to our customers who purchased FL Studio. @9990906081 – Only possible if you have the music only and vocal version of the same song. Otherwise the best you can do is isolate the vocal frequency range with Parametric EQ2. That can remove most of the percussion (kick bass).
can you tell me how to remove beats through fl 9 …?
act i want only vocals ,,,,,,
Better than Cool edit pro
question: how do I get my playlist like you do? because i only get sqaures and you get the complete music lines in there
is er misschien een nederlander die mij een beetje kan helpen misschien via msn
I loved this video. Thanks!
you are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks sooo much as i have always wanted to know how the “reverse” vocal is done
thanks a lot…

@imageline Thank you.
@dranner123 – You can do everything in FL Studio producer edition. So no you won’t need any other software. Your hardware (Audiogram 3 + C1) will be all you need. You will probably want a pop-shield too. It’s just a stocking stretched over a looped frame to stop wind from your voice hitting the mike with a thump.
One of the greatest programs made.
I’ve used FL for a while for producing but I’ve never recorded vocals. Before I watch this video on mixing them, can I record my vocals on FL straight through a mic?
I have phantom power on my Yamaha Audiogram 3 and I am going to get a cheap Behringer C-1 in the next few days.
Would I need to complete my music, export it, then record my vocals on in another program? Thanks in advance.
There is another way of creating that ‘reverse reverb’ effect at the beginning of the song. Just select the front part of the vocal in edison and use the built in reverb option in edison. Then take the reverbed part of the vocal to another instance of the vocal and reverse it. Cut out just the reverb and paste it in the front of the vocal and thats it. I think this method is much easier because you dont need to record the vocal again with the reverb.
@InHouseEnt whow no need to get all mr philosophy on me i was trying to figure out how to work it and by the wayy i figuredd out how to mange this program already . and if u learned from “the best” then why would u be looking at this videoo?(;
@letskack1 take the time to learn or uninstall it. i learned from 1 of the best and im still comin up everyday. if u gotta ask this kinda question, id suggest you uninstall it and choose something else. and your any advice question is rather vague. hit google, futureproducers and wherever else and study up like ive done. chances are, hardly ANYONE is going to help you and NOBODY is gonna hold ya hand w/this. either you got the drive 2 strive and figure it out, or you dont. point blank.
@imageline what image said. truer words have never been spoken. the rode nt-1 or nt-1a are the TRUTH. bottom line, when u record music basically, the mics the ground floor. if you build ya house on a wack foundation(buying a cheap BS mic) ur only hurting yourself. start out w/a good foundation in a great mic, the BEST you can afford, then build from there. if your mic choice requires a micpre, dont cheap there either. might have a great mic and cheap on the micpre and it sound like shit. 100
@Simonomon2 samson c01…cheap and awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great! BTW U Image Line Guys Should Really Enhance The Piano Roll Slide Feature…So Everyone Can Slide Notes With Every VST…(not just the fl stock vst’s)…that would really help in a production matter…cause the other procedures of sliding dont quitely sound well…and non accurate also…
@THEAMAZINGVIDEO – Did you click on the COMP tab as shown in the video?
